On 30 June 2026, the agw will meet in Bergheim with representatives from the Water Association Day of Lower Saxony, Bremen, and Saxony-Anhalt. In addition to discussing professional matters, an excursion to the Hambach open-cast mine is planned to experience firsthand the water management challenges caused by the lignite phase-out.
